Major Attraction in Kashmir-

1. Dal Lake

Best way to explore Dal lake is by Shikara ride, through floating market (where you can buy all sort of  textile & hand-made gift) with magnificent backdrops view of mountain. Shikara is very comfortable to half sleep and to experience lake in a royal way. Its a once lifetime experience so don’t miss it. Shikara ride cost you nearly 800 rs/boat but it can be bargained for less and which cover four point (floating market, mission kashmir shoot point, Nehru park, floating garden)

2. Shankaracharya Temple-

The road to the ancient Shankaracharya temple is picturesque with Chinar and Christmas tree & other flora on both side. The view of the Dal lake and the house boat anchored there from the top of the hill are breathtaking. The temple itself is very ancient (some says about 5000 yr old) an has a Shiva Temple at the apex. There are 272 steps to climb from the car parking point. If you really want to get bird eye view of Srinagar, with panoramic views of entire valley then there is no better place than this. Camera and Phone were not allowed due to security reason.

3. Garden’s of Kashmir-

The gardens were typical lavish landscaping as they always bring smile on face with there freshen fragrance and Kashmir itself is the land of flowers. Chinar trees and snow covered mountain were enhancing the beauty of all gardens. There are four very famous gardens.( Mughal Garden, Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and  Chashme Shahi Garden). If you are going to kashmir with family with old age members and kids this is the place where each member can enjoy.

4. Tulip Garden-

The sprawling Asia’s biggest Tulip garden in Kashmir. During March-April the garden is fully blooming and a feast to eyes. All around you can see only all kind of beautiful different eye catching colorful flowers. Apart from them, there are numerous multi-colored hybrid flowers too.

  1.  Try to Spend one night in house-boat, its a once lifetime experience so don’t miss it.
  2.  Hire your private Vehicle for entire stay in Kashmir from booking site and get pick up and drop from airport so you can plan as you like and which help to save your money.
  3. Also Pahalgam, Sonmarg, Gulmarg tourist sight seen places is not included in your personal vehicle as they were comes in other district so you have to hire another vehicle from there for sight seen only and they will cost you about 2000 INR/vehicle. (but your personal vehicle is with you rest all the time for pickup and drop)
  4. Be careful with saffron (keshar) seller as they will cheat you with quality.
  5. Always keep everything clear with your driver, at the end KASHMIR is not kashmir it is CASH MORE so, everyone will try to make you fool so be careful with this and try to bargain  as much as you can.
